About Marlene N. Seara, MSW
Personal and Professional Life
Born in Cuba, I believe I was cuban. Then I came to the United States, to New York. Next, my ethnicity became Hispanic or Latino. Later, I became a U.S. citizens . At that point, nationality faded away… I felt free. I am free and so, I became a universal Citizen.
Whit this journey of personal identity in mind, let me introduce myself to you, the reader. Professionally, I hold a master’s degree in social work. Personally, I am a first-time author. Initially, I set out an unexpected turn, leading me into the realm of personal growth and self-discovery.
The purpose of this book is to help readers to consciously explore the connection between the mind, body, spirit, god, and the universe . Another central idea is that you, I, and all of us are not separate beings. We are all part of a single collective entity: the Human Spirit. At some point in our fragile lives, we must come to consciously understand this truth.
I challenge you, the reader, to examine your beliefs and habitual thoughts by asking yourself two essential questions:
- What occupies your mind most of the time?
- What are your greatest worries and fears?
Answering these questions with awareness marks the beginning of self-discovery. It is not an easy path, but with patience, discipline, and sincere intention and desire, it is possible!
